Moon Realm is a bi-coastal planning and design studio. Our creative headquarters is a 15-acre desert sanctuary in Landers, California, just outside of Los Angeles, with a satellite office in Washington, DC. We work throughout California, the East Coast, and beyond.

Absolutely. We love designing events in new destinations and intentionally take on a limited number of destination celebrations each year. We’d love to hear what you’re envisioning.

Every celebration and event we design is fully custom, so pricing reflects the scope, location, and complexity of your project rather than a fixed rate. 

For weddings, full-service planning is percentage-based, calculated from your overall event budget. Moon Realm is generally best suited to celebrations with a meaningful design and production budget, typically beginning around $100,000 or $1,000+/guest.

We also design other events such as holiday parties, film premieres, birthdays, marriage proposals, and other creative celebrations, with investment varying based on the scope and level of production involved.

Our planning services always include full event management, start to finish, but we do not offer coordination as a standalone service.

We believe a seamless experience starts long before the event itself. Behind every relaxed celebration is months of thoughtful planning, intentional design, and careful production. Because of this, we only take on projects where we’re involved beforehand.

We offer both full-service and select partial planning, depending on the scope of your celebration and availability. If we’re not the right fit, we’re always happy to recommend trusted planners.

We recommend reaching out 12 months or more before your event whenever possible. This allows us to thoughtfully build your creative team, refine the design direction, and manage the many details that bring the celebration to life.

That said, we’ve planned beautiful celebrations on much shorter timelines. Wherever you are in the process, we’d love to hear about your plans and let you know what’s possible.

While we have a trusted roster of preferred partners, we curate a custom vendor team for every project based on your priorities, aesthetic, personality, and budget — and we love discovering new talent.
